

Authorities have identified two victims in the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant accident. The deceased were identified as Bhanu Kumar and Ramana. Efforts are continuing to identify the remaining victims, with DNA sample collection underway from their family members. Officials said the bodies were shifted to King George Hospital for further procedures.
According to KGH Superintendent Dr. Vani, a total of 8 bodies were brought to the mortuary, many of them severely damaged and difficult to identify. DNA testing is being conducted to establish the identities of the remaining victims. Samples collected from relatives are being sent to a laboratory in Vijayawada. Once identification is completed, the bodies will be handed over to the families, and transportation arrangements have been made to shift them to their native places.
