Trump’s Strategy on Iran.. Pressure Through Sanctions and Talks

Recent developments suggest that the United States is seeking to pressure Iran through economic sanctions, diplomatic manoeuvring and negotiations rather than immediately launching another military operation. US President Donald Trump said Washington was holding only “partial talks” with Iran and pointed to the country’s severe inflation and financial difficulties.
