Traffic Restrictions for Khairatabad Ganesh Darshan

Traffic restrictions will be imposed in and around Khairatabad from the 14th of this month in view of the Khairatabad Ganesh celebrations. The Khairatabad Bada Ganesh idol will be available for devotees to visit until the 23rd. Traffic Joint Commissioner of Police Joel Davis said around 30 lakh devotees are expected to visit the idol and urged them to use the Metro, MMTS and RTC buses to reduce traffic congestion.

The traffic police have made special parking arrangements at IMAX, the HMDA site, NTR Park and Necklace Road. A separate route has also been arranged for VIPs. Officials said devotees using public transport would help minimise traffic disruptions and ensure smoother movement in the surrounding areas during the celebrations.
