Tirumala Brahmotsavam - Malayappa Swamy Blesses Devotees on Surya and Chandra Vahanams

As part of the Srivari Brahmotsavams, Malayappa Swamy blessed devotees while taking part in the Surya Prabha and Chandra Prabha Vahana Sevas on Monday. In the morning, the deity was taken around the Mada Streets on the Surya Prabha Vahanam, drawing a large number of devotees who offered haratis. Devotee groups performed traditional Chekka Bhajans and Kolatam in front of the procession, accompanied by auspicious Mangala Vadyams. From 1 pm to 3 pm, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed for Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. At night, Malayappa Swamy appeared as Muralikrishna on the Chandra Prabha Vahanam. Heavy rain lashed Tirumala during the service, prompting devotees to have darshan from beneath the protective canopy.

The eighth day of the Brahmotsavams will be marked by the Rathotsavam at 7 am on Tuesday, followed by the Ashwa Vahana Seva from 7 pm to 9 pm. The festivities will conclude on Wednesday with Chakrasnanam, scheduled from 6 am to 9 am. The Monday vahana sevas were attended by the Pedda Jeeyar, Chinna Jeeyar, TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra, Additional EO Venkaiah Chowdary and board members.
