Tight Security for Prime Minister's Visit - CP Shankhabrata Bagchi

The Visakhapatnam City Police, under the leadership of Police Commissioner Dr. Shankhabrata Bagchi, have made extensive security arrangements for the inauguration of the Bhogapuram International Airport. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the inaugural event on August 1, prompting the police to implement comprehensive security measures across the region.

Special plans have been prepared for VIP security, traffic regulation, and crowd management. Traffic diversions will be enforced on three major routes, while personnel from Traffic, Law & Order, Crime, AR, and Home Guards will be deployed in large numbers. A green corridor, VIP parking, and enhanced venue security have also been arranged. Heavy vehicles will be restricted from entering Visakhapatnam city from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM on August 1, and commuters have been advised to follow police instructions and avoid unnecessary travel.
