Thunderstorms Forecast for Andhra Pradesh Weather Alert! Issued

The Meteorological Department in Visakhapatnam has stated that the southwest monsoon is gradually advancing. A trough extending from Odisha to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh has been observed, influencing weather conditions across the state.

Officials have predicted scattered thunderstorms in districts including Markapuram, Prakasam, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, and Chittoor. Light to moderate showers with lightning are also likely in Manyam, Alluri, Polavaram, and Anakapalli regions.
