Supriya Sule Raises Questions Over India’s Foreign Policy

NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Supriya Sule has raised concerns over India’s foreign policy while discussing the BRICS Summit. She said India can choose its friends but cannot choose its neighbours, making strong and stable relationships with other countries an important part of foreign policy.

Recalling former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s tenure, Sule highlighted his international relationships as an example of effective diplomacy. She also recalled former US President Barack Obama describing Singh as a mentor in his book. Sule said diplomacy is about building relationships over time and stressed that India should maintain strong ties with countries across the world while protecting its national interests.
