

The BJP will organise month-long service activities across the country from September 17 to October 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, BJP Legislature Party Leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy said. He stated that the programmes are being held to commemorate Modi completing 25 years of public service as Gujarat Chief Minister and Prime Minister. He appealed to BJP workers as well as the general public to participate in the initiatives and carry forward the spirit of service associated with Modi.
As part of the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme, people will be encouraged to light lamps at their homes and wish Modi good health and a long life so that he can continue serving the nation. Drawing and elocution competitions will also be conducted in schools and colleges, with around 25 lakh students expected to participate and share their views on Modi’s service, sacrifice and the vision of a developed India. Maheshwar Reddy also called for the successful conduct of the ‘Namo Seva Yatra’ and other welfare activities throughout the month, urging people to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat.
