The Telangana government is planning to introduce a Comprehensive Welfare Card aimed at improving the delivery and monitoring of welfare schemes across the state. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to design a system that brings together complete citizen information on a single platform. The card is expected to provide clear details about benefits received under various government departments and welfare programs.
As part of the initiative, a special drive will be conducted to collect and update beneficiary data. The proposed welfare card will also be linked with data from the comprehensive household survey and individual health profiles. Officials believe the move will streamline welfare administration and provide a unified record of citizen benefits and services.
