Nampally Court Grants Relief to iBomma Ravi on Bank Accounts

iBomma Ravi has received partial relief from the Nampally court in the piracy case. Police had frozen his bank accounts as part of the investigation. Ravi approached the court stating that the freeze had caused financial difficulties and made it difficult for him to support his family. The court has now allowed him to operate the seized bank accounts for regular transactions.

However, the court did not permit the release of the approximately Rs 3 crore that remains frozen in the accounts. Ravi had sought access to the frozen funds, citing financial hardship. The court's latest order allows him to use the bank accounts but keeps the Rs 3 crore amount frozen while the investigation continues.
