MeeSeva Door Delivery Services Launched

To make government citizen services more accessible to the public, ‘MeeSeva Door Delivery Services’ have been launched. The initiative was taken up with the special initiative of Minister Sridhar Babu and was formally launched on Wednesday at the RTC Kalyana Mandapam. Citizens can book a slot by calling the 1100 toll-free number or through the MeeSeva portal. Once the slot is booked, a MeeSeva executive will visit the applicant’s doorstep and provide the required services.

The doorstep facility will cover several key citizen services available through MeeSeva, including birth and death certificates, income, caste and residence certificates, EC copies, police department services and IGRS registrations. More than 70 MeeSeva agents and MeeSeva VLEs have been given special training for the initiative. The service will initially be implemented as a pilot project in ‘CURE’ areas and will be expanded to other parts of the state in the coming days.
