India Post has introduced drone technology to deliver postal services faster to people living in remote and high altitude regions of Himachal Pradesh. The initiative aims to improve connectivity in difficult mountainous areas and ensure quicker delivery of essential postal services.
The first drone postal delivery trials conducted in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh have been successfully completed. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia shared the development on social media, stating that the service aims to bring postal facilities closer to remote communities and improve accessibility in hard to reach regions.
