Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan welcomed the decision of the Civil Supplies Department to sell rice at affordable prices, stating that it will provide relief to common people affected by rising market rates. He said the initiative is aimed at easing the financial burden on households amid increasing food costs in the open market.
He further announced that the subsidized rice will be available from August 1 at 130 Rythu Bazaars and 500 special counters set up by rice millers across the state. According to the plan, BPT super fine rice will be sold at ₹52 per kg, while Grade 1 raw rice will be available at ₹50 per kg. The government has made necessary arrangements to ensure smooth distribution and accessibility for the public.
