Government Launches Action Plan for SRSP Restoration

Telangana Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and D. Sridhar Babu visited the Sriram Sagar Project (SRSP) in Nizamabad and reviewed the reservoir along with senior officials. They examined the current water level, flood inflows, and overall project status while discussing water management measures.

Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy said SRSP is a matter of pride for Telangana and announced that plans are being prepared for desilting the project. He said clarity on water releases would be provided within two days. He also alleged that the BRS was spreading false propaganda about the Medigadda, Annaram, Sundilla barrages, and Yellampalli project, while reaffirming the government's commitment to restoring the three barrages.
