The Central government has released an additional ₹1,09,019 crore to states as their share of tax devolution. The funds have been released in advance to help states speed up capital expenditure and development projects.
Andhra Pradesh has received ₹4,597 crore, while Telangana has been allocated ₹2,370 crore. Uttar Pradesh received the highest share of ₹19,208 crore, followed by Bihar with ₹10,845 crore.
