Former YSRCP MLA Mustafa Remanded

Former YSRCP MLA Sheikh Mohammed Mustafa has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days by the Nuzvid court in Eluru district. Mustafa, who has been named as Accused No. 2 in a tobacco trader kidnapping case, was arrested by police in Gujarat and brought to the Nuzvid Police Station shortly after midnight.

Following his arrest, police conducted medical examinations before producing him before the court. After hearing the matter, the Nuzvid court remanded Mustafa to judicial custody until the 19th of this month. Police are continuing their investigation into his alleged role in the kidnapping case.
