Fly91 Flight Services to Tirupati Launched

Air travellers between Vijayawada and Tirupati have a new travel option with the launch of a Fly91 flight service from Gannavaram Airport to Tirupati. Government Whip and MLA Yarllagadda Venkata Rao inaugurated the service by cutting a ribbon at Gannavaram Airport on Wednesday and personally handed over tickets to the first passengers. The service will operate four days a week.

Yarllagadda Venkata Rao said the new service would provide greater convenience to passengers travelling between Vijayawada and Tirupati. He thanked Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu for supporting the initiative and urged authorities to introduce the service on Sundays as well. He also called for international flights by airlines such as Emirates, Qatar Airways and Lufthansa from Gannavaram Airport. He said the airport had witnessed significant development over the past 12 years and needed further expansion in the future.
