The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is effectively managing the heavy rush of devotees during the summer vacation season. Devotees, who earlier had to wait for long hours in compartments, are now able to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara within 7 to 8 hours. With the cancellation of VIP break recommendation letters and continuous monitoring through the Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC) supported by AI and CCTV surveillance, queue management has significantly improved. Officials have ensured that the waiting time for Sarva Darshan does not exceed the eight-hour mark.
Slotted Sarva Darshan is being completed within 2 to 3 hours, while the ₹300 special entry darshan is completed in about two and a half hours. Even with over one lakh devotees visiting on peak days, TTD has successfully kept the darshan time under control. The suspension of VIP recommendation letters has saved nearly two hours in queue movement, increasing daily darshan capacity to nearly 90,000 to 1 lakh devotees. In the last three days, 2,45,686 devotees had darshan, generating ₹11.95 crore revenue, with May 3 recording ₹5.06 crore in hundi collections. All pre-scheduled services including ₹300 darshan, SRIVANI trust tickets, NRI quota, and elderly and differently-abled darshans continue as per the regular schedule.
