The Congress party has announced a nationwide protest campaign for today, intensifying its demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has instructed its state units and party workers to organise candlelight marches, satyagrahas and peaceful demonstrations in different parts of the country.
As part of the protest programme, Congress leaders and workers have been asked to gather near the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to express their opposition. The party expects large-scale participation from its cadre and supporters, with demonstrations planned across multiple states to highlight its demands before the central government.
