

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Yogandhra programme held at the historic Undavalli Caves in Amaravati. During the event, students of Patanjali Yoga Gurukul showcased impressive yoga asanas, which were appreciated by the Chief Minister.
Addressing the gathering, Baba Ramdev described yoga as India's pride and praised Chandrababu Naidu's leadership. He said Amaravati has become the "Yoga Capital" and appreciated the state's efforts in promoting greenery, natural farming, and cultural values. He also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat" and said Chandrababu is playing a key role in achieving the goal of a developed and self-reliant India.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recalled his three-decade-long association with Baba Ramdev and appreciated his contribution to taking yoga to the masses. He highlighted the historical and spiritual significance of Undavalli Caves and said Amaravati is being developed as a pollution-free, net-zero capital. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to balance technology with spirituality, promote yoga among the younger generation, expand natural farming, and transform Andhra Pradesh into a major spiritual destination while ensuring preventive healthcare through the Sanjeevani programme.
In his speeches, Baba Ramdev hailed yoga as a source of pride for India and praised Chandrababu Naidu as a 'Karmayogi'. Expressing gratitude to Baba Ramdev for taking yoga to the masses, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu urged everyone to make yoga a part of their daily lives and called for collective cooperation in building a healthy society.
