Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued key instructions to officials in view of heavy rainfall warnings across Hyderabad. He directed that the Hyderabad Core Urban Region (CURE) remain on high alert and ordered all departments including police, traffic police, municipal administration, HYDRAA, electricity, and water board to work in close coordination.
The Chief Minister held an emergency review meeting with senior officials including the Chief Secretary, DGP, and CURE Special CS, instructing them to take war-footing measures. He emphasized the need for advance deployment of teams in flood-prone and water-logging areas based on rain forecasts, ensuring minimal inconvenience to city residents.
