

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu invited Singapore-based entrepreneurs and investors to visit Amaravati and explore emerging opportunities in the state’s capital region. Speaking at the World Cities Summit in Singapore during the Leadership Plenary session on the theme “Can Smart Cities Love Humans?”, Chandrababu said that Amaravati is being developed with a people-first approach, focusing on equity, sustainability, opportunity, and quality of life. He recalled advocating information technology 25 years ago and noted that Telugu people have benefited significantly from early investments in technology. He added that the era of Artificial Intelligence presents another transformative opportunity.
Highlighting the vision for Amaravati, the Chief Minister said the capital city is being developed as a global hub with world-class infrastructure. He stated that the city will feature a 21-kilometre waterfront along the Krishna River, iconic bridges, inner and outer ring roads, cycling and walking tracks, green energy systems, underground utilities, and a greenfield airport. Chandrababu emphasized that Amaravati will host sectors such as sports, finance, knowledge, justice, tourism, healthcare, and media. He also revealed plans for a Quantum Computing Hub and advanced digital infrastructure, expressing confidence that Amaravati will emerge as one of the world’s finest knowledge cities.
