

A case has been registered against actress Ashu Reddy at the CCS (Central Crime Station) following allegations of cheating an NRI named Dharmendra. The complaint, filed by the victim’s father Satyanarayana, states that the actress allegedly took ₹9.35 crore from Dharmendra after promising marriage and later deceived him. Amid the ongoing investigation, an alleged voice recording linked to Ashu Reddy surfaced on social media, drawing widespread attention.
In the audio clip, the speaker is heard offering to repay ₹1.5 crore by May through bank transfer and discussing settlement of the remaining amount later, while warning of legal action if harassment continues. Meanwhile, CCS police have intensified the probe by collecting bank transaction evidence and sending the audio recording for forensic analysis. Reports indicate that a notice may be issued to the actress as part of further investigation.
