Balapur Laddu Fetches a Huge Price at Auction

The famous Balapur Ganesh laddu prasadam fetched a record ₹39 lakh at this year’s auction in Hyderabad. Thirty-five-year-old businessman Sama Praneeth Reddy, head of Urban Realty Group from Sahebnagar in Vanasthalipuram, won the auction and secured the sacred Balapur Ganesh laddu with a bid of ₹39 lakh. Last year, the laddu was auctioned for ₹35 lakh.

Sama Praneeth Reddy, who is from Vanasthalipuram in Hyderabad, recently returned from the United States and started his business under the name ‘Urban Groups’. At a young age, he secured the prestigious Balapur Ganesh laddu prasadam through the auction. This year’s bid was ₹4 lakh higher than last year’s price.
