AP Announces Teacher MLC Voter Registration Schedule

The voter registration process for the upcoming Teacher MLC elections in Andhra Pradesh is set to begin. The voter registration schedule will be announced on September 28, after which applications from eligible teachers will be accepted until November 6. A draft electoral roll will be published on November 25. Claims and objections to the draft list will then be examined before the final roll is prepared.

The final electoral roll for the Teacher MLC constituencies will be published on December 30. The terms of the two existing Teacher MLCs in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to end on March 29, 2027. In view of the upcoming vacancies, the Election Commission is taking up the voter-list preparation process in advance. Eligible teachers have been advised to complete the registration process within the prescribed deadline.
