Cockroach Janata Party chief Abhijeet Deepke has demanded that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign within one week over alleged failures in conducting examinations. He said that if the minister does not step down voluntarily, the Central Government should remove him from office. Speaking in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, Deepke warned that large-scale protests would be launched if no action is taken. He also stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi bears the responsibility of ensuring accountability.
Deepke said the movement would continue until Pradhan resigns and announced plans to expand the campaign nationwide after 15 days of organisational growth. He described the recent Jantar Mantar protest as only a "trailer" of a larger movement. Meanwhile, security at his residence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has been strengthened, with police deployment increased from 11 personnel to 15 personnel. BJP leader and Haryana Minister Anil Vij also suggested that the Cockroach Janata Party consider changing its name.
