

India’s stock market bull run has reached 2,370 days as of September 2026, making it the longest-running bull market in the country, according to a recent report. Against this backdrop, the investment patterns disclosed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cabinet ministers for FY2025-26 have drawn attention. The Prime Minister’s Office has published the assets and liabilities declarations of the Union Council of Ministers as of March 31, 2026, including those of all 30 Cabinet ministers.
According to the reported analysis of these declarations, eight Cabinet ministers have investments only in fixed deposits and no stock-market holdings. They are Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister J.P. Nadda, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal, Panchayati Raj Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram and Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh. Other ministers have disclosed market investments, including some with mutual funds, while land and jewellery also feature among the assets disclosed by ministers.
