Petrol and diesel prices have been increased once again across the country. Public sector oil companies announced the revised fuel prices, raising petrol rates by Rs. 2.84 per litre and diesel rates by Rs. 2.86 per litre. The revised prices came into effect from today.
This is the fourth fuel price hike in recent times, causing concern among common and middle-class people. With the prices of essential commodities already increasing, people fear that the latest fuel price hike may further impact transportation and daily living expenses.
