Microsoft has announced a Voluntary Exit Offer (VEO) for eligible employees working in India, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. The programme is open to employees at Level 70 or below, based on the company’s internal grading system, which reflects different levels of seniority. The initiative provides eligible employees with an opportunity to leave the organisation voluntarily under the applicable terms and conditions.
The announcement has drawn attention to Microsoft’s employee management strategy across the four countries. However, details regarding the final number of eligible employees, compensation packages and the application deadline need to be confirmed from the company’s official communication. The voluntary exit programme is a significant development for employees who may be considering a career transition.
