Engineering and technology services firm Cyient reported revenue of ₹2,075.7 crore for the June quarter of the current financial year, marking a notable increase compared to ₹1,711.8 crore in the same period last year. However, the company’s net profit declined to ₹108.7 crore from ₹157.4 crore recorded a year ago. The performance reflects strong operational growth despite pressure on margins.
Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director Krishna Bodanapu stated that investments made over the past few quarters are now yielding results. CEO Sukamal Banerjee noted that new orders grew by 5.3% in the last quarter. The company also completed a share buyback of 64 lakh shares worth over ₹720 crore, signaling confidence in its long-term growth strategy.
