Hyderabad Firm Unveils Indigenous Anti Drone System

Hyderabad based Zen Technologies has expanded its indigenous defence technology portfolio by unveiling India's first High Altitude Man Portable Anti Drone System (MPADS). The company said the lightweight system has been designed to provide effective protection to security forces operating in high-altitude and remote regions.

According to the company, the indigenous counter UAS solution is specifically built for rapid deployment in difficult terrains where conventional vehicle mounted anti drone systems cannot be used. The portable system enables troops to respond quickly to aerial threats in challenging environments.

The MPADS is equipped with advanced Radio Frequency (RF) detection, intelligent data fusion, and omnidirectional jamming technologies. It is capable of operating 24/7 in all weather conditions and can be easily carried by soldiers, All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), making it a versatile solution for modern defence operations.
