Apollo Partners for Electric Air Ambulances

Ubifly Technologies (ePlane Company) and Apollo Hospitals have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to introduce electric air ambulances and medical delivery drones into India's emergency healthcare system. The partnership aims to transport accident victims and critically ill patients to hospitals faster, ensuring timely medical treatment during emergencies.

Under the agreement, e200X electric air ambulances developed by ePlane will work alongside Apollo's 1066 ambulance network. Medical delivery drones will also be deployed to transport medicines and essential medical supplies within minutes. Apollo Hospitals Group Chairman Dr. Prathap C. Reddy said the initiative will improve access to quality healthcare, especially in remote areas. Apollo may also place orders for the aircraft and drones and explore investment opportunities in ePlane.
