Television actress Shivangi Joshi shared an emotional account of her childhood during a reality show, revealing that she allegedly faced inappropriate behaviour from a relative at a young age. She recalled that the individual, who was trusted by her family and used to accompany her from school, allegedly misused that trust by making her uncomfortable and attempting to behave inappropriately. Shivangi said she was too young to understand what was happening at the time, but her parents took immediate action after learning about the incident and ensured the person was removed from their home.

The video of her emotional revelation has since gone viral on social media. Reacting to the incident, Shivangi's mother appealed to parents to educate children about the concepts of good touch and bad touch from an early age so they can recognize unsafe situations and seek help when necessary.
