Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi recently opened up about the struggles she faced during the early stages of her career in a podcast. Nora, who previously entered Bigg Boss Hindi Season 9 as a wild-card contestant, said she initially looked down on reality shows but eventually changed her opinion due to her circumstances. At the time, she had appeared in several songs in succession but claimed that she did not receive the remuneration due to her. She said the producers may have paid the agency, but she herself received no money. Nora recalled having arguments with producers over her payments and said the situation was mentally difficult for her. It was during this period that she received an offer from the Bigg Boss team.
Nora said she initially refused to participate in Bigg Boss and even argued with the team because she could not understand how the show would fit into her career plans. However, she changed her mind after learning about the substantial amount being offered to her. She admitted that she joined the show primarily for the money and said reality shows were not necessarily bad because they could bring popularity quickly. Since she was entering as a wild card, she believed she would not have to stay in the house for long. Nora also revealed that she strongly wanted to participate in the same channel’s dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’. She therefore made it a condition that she should be offered an opportunity on the dance show if she agreed to participate in Bigg Boss. After the channel accepted her condition, she decided to enter Bigg Boss.
