Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Goud on Tuesday made serious allegations against BRS leader Harish Rao, claiming that he had performed alleged occult rituals for political purposes. Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Mahesh Goud said the Congress possessed evidence to support its allegations. He questioned Harish Rao's reported visits to Tiruchirappalli and Shivamogga on specific dates and sought clarification regarding those trips.
Mahesh Goud further alleged that Harish Rao had concealed details of a visit to an Aghori temple and accused him of engaging in rituals for personal political interests. He also claimed that legal notices had been issued to Congress leaders for raising these allegations but asserted that the party would not be intimidated. Harish Rao and the BRS had not publicly responded to these allegations at the time of reporting.
