YSR Congress Party president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the current situation in Andhra Pradesh is disappointing and alleged that public dissatisfaction against the Chandrababu Naidu-led government is increasing. He claimed that YSRCP remains the only political party in the state to have implemented nearly 99 percent of its manifesto promises and said his government restored credibility to election manifestos through effective governance.
Jagan highlighted several welfare and development initiatives undertaken during the YSRCP administration. He said the government successfully implemented a welfare calendar and introduced transformative reforms in education, healthcare and agriculture. He also pointed to development works in tribal regions, distribution of land titles to nearly three lakh tribal beneficiaries, establishment of 17 medical colleges and the promotion of tribal universities. Jagan alleged that the present administration is leading the state towards destructive governance and urged people to compare the performance of both governments.
