Tamil Nadu politics has taken a new turn with the announcement of a new political party. V K Sasikala, a close associate of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, announced the launch of her party during a public meeting in Ramanathapuram. She stated that the party name and further details would be revealed soon.
Addressing the gathering, Sasikala said she would prove her strength and mark in politics. She expressed anguish over false allegations made against her, including claims that she was responsible for Jayalalithaa’s death. Sasikala also admitted that supporting Palaniswami as Chief Minister was a mistake on her part.
She further alleged that she was humiliated and forcibly removed from the party. Despite this, Sasikala said she is returning to politics with determination to serve the people of Tamil Nadu and carry forward Jayalalithaa’s vision. Her announcement has sparked fresh political discussions across the state.
