Karuppu Set for OTT Premiere After Massive Box Office Success

Suriya and Trisha Krishnan starrer ‘Karuppu’, directed by RJ Balaji, emerged as one of the biggest South Indian hits of 2026. Released on May 14, the action drama reportedly collected over ₹300 crore worldwide and received appreciation for its gripping narrative, emotional depth, and powerful performances. The film’s strong theatrical run further boosted Suriya’s popularity across multiple markets.

Following its successful box-office performance, Karuppu is now gearing up for its digital premiere. The film is expected to start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 12. Apart from Tamil, it will also be available in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Reports suggest that the movie will stream in 4K UHD quality with premium audio support, offering viewers an enhanced home entertainment experience.
