‘Irumudi’ Continues to Shine in Theatres.. OTT Release Date Locked!

Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has reportedly turned into an unexpected blockbuster and continues to attract audiences in theatres even after completing more than three weeks of its theatrical run. Directed by Siva Nirvana, the film combines a father-daughter relationship with the backdrop of Ayyappa devotion and a story set in a rural village.

The film follows Trinath, played by Ravi Teja, who lives near Seeleru in Andhra Pradesh’s Alluri Sitharama Raju district with his wife Kaveri and daughter Mani. Trinath is an Ayyappa devotee who observes the pilgrimage tradition every year. Meanwhile, a local gang creates trouble for villagers and harasses school-going girls. When Mani becomes suspicious about something involving Gayatri, the daughter of Guruswamy, she struggles to tell her father. Gayatri later goes missing one night, setting Trinath on a search that leads to the film’s central mystery and twists. Irumudi is scheduled to stream on Netflix from September 18 in five languages.
