US Congressman Brad Sherman has called on Pakistan to take strict action against terrorist organizations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. He alleged that these groups were linked to the Pahalgam terror attack that occurred last year. Sherman made these remarks while speaking at an exhibition organized by the Indian Embassy titled “Human Cost of Terrorism,” which highlights the impact of terrorism on innocent civilians.
During his address, Sherman condemned the attack, stating that innocent people were deliberately targeted based on their religion. He urged that all parties should collectively demand Pakistan to dismantle terrorist organizations linked to such incidents. The exhibition showcased some of the world’s major terror attacks, including the 1993 Mumbai blasts, the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, and visuals related to the Pahalgam incident. Indian Ambassador to the US Vinay Mohan Kwatra emphasized that terrorism causes immense harm to society and called for global unity to eliminate it.
