Discussions about US President Donald Trump's health have begun once again. The issue became a hot topic after an injury was noticed on his left hand during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The injury was clearly visible when Trump inaugurated the Gaza Peace Council, and photos and videos of it quickly went viral on social media. This led to renewed doubts and concerns about the president's health.
Responding to the matter, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Trump sustained a minor injury to his hand after bumping it on the corner of a table during the event. Trump also provided an explanation, saying that he is perfectly healthy and has received treatment for the injury. He also revealed that he is taking aspirin as advised by his doctors. Previously, similar injuries on Trump's hand had led to reports of ill health, but the White House had then refuted these claims, clarifying that it was due to a common blood vessel condition seen in older people.
