The Andhra Pradesh state government has taken a decision that will provide relief to farmers. Minister Anagani Satyaprasad announced that the distribution of land passbooks to farmers will begin tomorrow (Friday) on a district-wise basis. He stated that a special schedule would be released for each mandal. The government believes that this distribution of passbooks will provide clarity to farmers regarding their land rights.
The minister clarified that if there are any errors in the passbooks, officials will visit the farmers' homes to correct them. He also stated that revenue clinics would be expanded to all districts to resolve land issues quickly. Minister Anagani Satyaprasad warned that this year would be the year of land reforms, and that permanent solutions would be provided for land problems, along with strict action against those who have committed errors.
