

Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran paid a courtesy visit to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during the latter’s Davos tour. During the meeting, Chandrasekaran enquired about the Chief Minister’s participation in this year’s Davos summit. CM Chandrababu Naidu described Davos as an important global platform to understand emerging industrial trends and the evolving perspectives of global business leaders. He stated that such visits help in branding Andhra Pradesh and in assessing market response to the state’s new industrial policies.
The Chief Minister revealed that discussions held during the Davos 2025 visit have already resulted in investments worth ₹2.50 lakh crore reaching the implementation stage. He explained that over three days, the state’s progress in sectors such as green energy, technology, artificial intelligence, agriculture, and tourism was showcased through multiple meetings. Chandrababu Naidu noted growing global interest in India due to its young workforce, effective leadership, and stable policies. Discussions also covered the progress of TCS development center in Visakhapatnam, Amaravati Quantum Valley, solar power projects in Kurnool, tourism initiatives, the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub, and proposals for three sports cities in the state. Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran assured full support in reviewing and accelerating Tata Group projects in Andhra Pradesh.
