

Rising stray dog attacks in Doulatabad Mandal have triggered panic among residents. On Wednesday, separate incidents in different villages left a school student and a three-year-old child seriously injured. According to victims and 108 ambulance personnel, Manoj (12), son of Mailugari Chandrayya from Konapur village, is an eighth-grade student at the ZP Boys School in Doulatabad mandal headquarters. After missing the school bus on Wednesday morning, Manoj set out on foot when a pack of stray dogs suddenly attacked him, causing severe injuries.
In another incident, Advika (3), daughter of Uppala Krishna from Govindapur village, was playing outside her house when a stray dog attacked her in the afternoon. The child suffered heavy bleeding due to the vicious bite. Both the injured student and the toddler were shifted to the Government Hospital in Gajwel by 108 ambulance staff Bhanu Prakash and Narasimha. Locals complained that the stray dog menace has increased alarmingly, making it difficult for residents to step outside their homes. They urged authorities to act immediately and relocate the dogs to shelter homes.
