Security Lapse at TTD Temple in Tirupati: Unidentified Man Scales Gopuram

A major security lapse was reported at the Tirupati Govindaswamy Temple, which comes under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), after an unidentified individual gained unauthorised entry into the temple premises. The incident raised serious concerns over temple security, as the man reportedly breached the compound by climbing over the wall and entered the highly sensitive area.

According to officials, the individual, suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, climbed the temple gopuram and attempted to pull down the kalasams. Temple authorities and security personnel made sustained efforts for nearly three hours before safely bringing him down. No damage to the temple structure was reported. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain how the security breach occurred and to prevent such incidents in the future.
