Schedule Released by the EC of India for Rajya Sabha Elections in Telangana

The Election Commission of India has released the schedule for the Rajya Sabha elections in Telangana. Nominations will be accepted from February 26, with the last date set for March 5. Scrutiny of nominations will take place on March 6, and withdrawals will be allowed until March 9. Polling is scheduled for March 16, and the results will be declared the same day.

The elections are being held to fill two seats that will fall vacant on April 9 following the retirement of Abhishek Singhvi and K. R. Suresh Reddy. Along with Telangana, elections will be conducted for 37 Rajya Sabha seats across ten states.
