It is reported that Janasena party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed strong dissatisfaction over the party's weak response to the Tirumala Laddu controversy. During a recent Janasena General Body meeting, when this issue was raised, Pawan Kalyan expressed his strong anger at the party leaders' silence. He reportedly questioned the leadership sternly, asking, "Do I have to speak on every issue alone? Don't you also have the responsibility to take the party's stance to the people?" He expressed his displeasure that not a single leader had given an appropriate response to the narratives propagated by the YSRCP regarding the Tirumala Laddu issue, and ordered that activity be increased at all levels. It is reported that he instructed Nadendla Manohar to prepare a report on the matter and then left the meeting midway.
Similarly, Pawan Kalyan also responded to the controversy involving the Railway Kodur MLA. He clarified that the personal mistakes of party leaders and public representatives should not tarnish the party's reputation. Nadendla Manohar stated that Pawan Kalyan advised that such issues should be resolved at the personal level and that they should not be allowed to put the party in trouble. Overall, this meeting made it clear that Pawan Kalyan expects a more active role from the leaders in party affairs.
