

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a grand welcome in the Israeli Parliament. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “For me, Narendra Modi is not just a friend, he is more than a brother.” He said that India is developing very rapidly under Modi’s leadership and he is a great friend of Israel. He revealed that trade agreements with India have doubled and cooperation between the two countries has increased fourfold. Netanyahu commented that the India-Israel relationship cannot be described in words.
Modi, who became the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Israeli Parliament, said that he considers this opportunity an honor. He said that both India and Israel are countries with ancient civilizations. He expressed deep sympathy for the Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7 and made it clear that terrorism will not be ignored in any way. He called on the world to fight terrorism together and said that India will provide full support to Israel in eradicating terrorism.
