

Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar announced that around 3,000 police personnel will be deployed to ensure security during the Sri Rama Navami procession in the city. A coordination meeting was held with officials from various departments, including GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan. Authorities reviewed arrangements, security measures, and crowd management plans for the grand procession.
Strict surveillance will be maintained through CCTV cameras and drones. Special teams, including crime units and women safety teams, will be deployed to prevent incidents such as chain snatching. Organizers have been advised to start the procession on time, avoid large vehicles in narrow routes, and conduct trial runs. Officials also emphasized controlling noise levels by avoiding DJs and ensuring that songs and speeches do not hurt public sentiments. Civic authorities confirmed that road repairs and street lighting arrangements have been completed to ensure a smooth and safe event.
