Complaint to President, EC to cancel PM Modi's election

Yugathulasi Party president and former TTD Board member Shivakumar Kolishetty has demanded the immediate cancellation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi nomination from Varanasi in the previous Lok Sabha elections. He submitted complaints to the President of India and the Election Commission, alleging irregularities in the acceptance of the nomination.

He pointed out that Nalgonda candidate Naga Pullarao Eda’s nomination was rejected for leaving certain columns blank in Part B, Column 8 of his affidavit. However, despite similar omissions in Modi’s affidavit, his nomination was accepted. Kolishetty alleged that the Election Commission showed bias and violated rules in this matter.
